Our Ministry Focus

“Our children will define the future, which makes them our most significant and enduring legacy.”  Transforming Children into Spiritual Champions: Why Children Should Be Your Church’s #1 Priority by George Barna.

From the infants and toddlers to our teenagers, BBLC is teeming with potential and hope in the presence of our youth. We are proud to have such dedicated and involved youth and families at BBLC. Therefore, we are taking strides to put a greater emphasis of our ministry on our children, youth and families right here at BBLC, to follow through on our baptismal promises to pass on the faith to our own children and grandchildren. We do this through home visits from the pastor, incorporating youth in worship, weekly Sunday school and faith formation, cross-generational activities, mentors, confirmation & catechesis, Luther League and by using a narrative or storytelling approach to the Bible in our preaching and teaching for all ages.

There’s never been a better time to hope in what God is up to at BBLC! Join us!
